Pre-listing Inspections

Comprehensive Pre-Listing Structural, Building, Termite & Timber Pest Inspection.  Preliminary Plumbing Inspection & Electrical Safety Check – $1395 Inclusive

Anyone selling their home needs to get a home inspection – it’s inevitable.  But getting one before listing your property puts you ahead of the game.  Letting prospective buyers see that the home has got the ‘all clear’ will help to seal the deal.  And if the report does highlight a concern, addressing the deficiency in the home before a buyer finds it, helps increase the value of your home and reduce the time it’s on the market.

What’s included in the Inspection and Reports?

  • External roof material condition, gutters, down pipes, valleys, ridge tiles, flashing around all roof penetrations and all possible water entry points.

Please note, the presence of asbestos cannot be definitively determined by visual inspection.  For conclusive detection and classification of asbestos, it is necessary to send samples of suspect materials to a laboratory for examination under an electron microscope.  For more information see the ‘Simple guide to identifying asbestos in your home’.
