InterNACHI

Unqualified, unlicensed and uninsured 'residential building inspectors' have flooded the market recently in Perth, due to the slump in mining and other sectors.  Buyers and homeowners should be cautious, as many building tradesmen offer inspection services when the demand for their trade (plumbing/carpentry) is low.  However, tradesmen typically don't have the 'all-round' skills required to inspect each important element from structure, to termites / pests infestation, to weathering details (long term moisture penetration), to electrical safety hazards, to insulation issues, building life expectancy & durability.  The majority of these building tradesmen often don't recognise the initial signs of a termite or pest infestation, and are frequently unable to separate a minor structural anomaly from a more serious problem, where remedial works are required.

Thermal Imaging

Want to improve the thermal insulation of your house?  Our cutting-edge thermal imaging technology will let you see where you are losing the most heat and where to add insulation.

Inspection Report Quality

Perth's residential building & termite / pest inspectors have a reputation for performing poor quality structural and termite examinations and reports.  The pre purchase ( pre listing / pre delivery ) reports are often full with generic semi relevant text that has been copied from previous reports.

WA Home Inspections reports are very thorough, easy to understand with colour photographs, and offer sensible maintenance advice to reduce your long-term costs.  All advice contained in our reports will be tailored specifically to your property's defects, with sensible, cost-effective remedial advice guidance where appropriate.

Asbestos Check

Are you planning on renovating your new home?  Make sure you get a competent contractor that won't leave unseen harmful asbestos dust behind.  We provide initial guidance on useful resources detailing common building materials that contain asbestos, and how to protect you and your loved ones.  WA Home Inspections' reports, include a photographic record of building materials on your site, which could contain asbestos.
